Lakeside houses, boathouses and the church steeple in Hallstatt, with wooded mountains behind — Hallstatt, Austria.

Behind the lens

I’m Paul.
This is how I see.

Photography gives me a reason to slow down, pay attention and notice what might otherwise pass me by.

I’m drawn to very different kinds of moments: the stillness of a landscape, the character of a place, the scale of a night sky and the unexpected rhythm of a street.

Journey Through My Lens is a place to bring those photographs together. Different subjects, connected by the same curiosity.

For now, this is a collection to explore. In time, I hope to make selected photographs available as prints.

Sometimes I wait for the light.
Sometimes I try to keep up with life.
