This website presents photography by Paul Melotto. It does not accept payments or collect messages through a contact form.

Visiting the website

Hosting and security providers may process technical information, including IP addresses, browser details and page requests, to deliver and protect the website.

First-party visitor measurement

We measure visible page loads, daily unique browsers, visits, pages and referring website domains to understand use of this portfolio. Random browser-storage identifiers reset each day in Riyadh; visits reset after 30 minutes without a page load and at midnight. Only daily hashes reach our analytics database. We do not retain raw IP addresses, full browser details, full referrer addresses or cross-day visitor identifiers in that database, and do not use advertising trackers or fingerprinting. Daily hashes are removed on collection after two prior days; aggregate daily counts are retained for trends. Excluded technical test receipts are retained for up to seven days after the next test.

Your browser’s Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control setting disables this measurement. You can also block scripts or browser storage; the photographs remain accessible. Visitors using multiple devices, clearing storage or blocking measurement affect the accuracy of counts. The visitor dashboard and its data are restricted to the owner. Signing into the owner dashboard sets a first-party exclusion cookie to avoid counting that browser for up to one year.

Google Analytics

We also use Google Analytics 4 to understand visits, page engagement, approximate location, device type and where visitors came from, including campaign links. Google may use cookies and process this usage data under its privacy policy. This measurement is separate from the first-party visitor counts above.

Links and enquiries

Instagram, Canon and the sources linked from blog articles are external services. Their own privacy terms apply when you visit them. If you contact me on Instagram, your message is handled through that service.

Email updates

If you subscribe, Kit processes your email address to deliver weekly photography updates. You must confirm your email to join, and can unsubscribe using the link in each email. The embedded form also sends Kit the page URL, referring page and a browser-storage visitor identifier for form measurement, including when the form loads. Kit may process technical information needed to provide and protect this service. See Kit’s privacy policy. Please do not put private information in website URL parameters.
